ABOUT

Janie is a Memphis-raised, Brooklyn-based illustrator with a love for music. She currently works as a Design Assistant at Merge Records, an In-House Designer/Illustrator at The Broadway, and a freelancer creating show flyers & other visual content for bands & record labels. In the past she has created visual content for Sony Music, Rough Trade NYC, Captured Tracks, New York Times, Taproot Magazine, and The Prattler. In addition to being a visual artist, Janie also plays lead guitar in Razor Braids, an all-female rock group who just released their debut album in December. She is a two-time recipient of the New York Women In Communications Scholarship (Class of 2017, 2019).
